The Booster/Volunteer Manager plays a central role in the organization’s success. They are the driving force behind coordinating volunteers, ensuring smooth event operations, and managing various organizational tasks. With their responsibilities ranging from handling decorations to facilitating meetings, budgeting, and collaborating with team moms, they are essential to the seamless execution of events and activities.

The position requires a skilled individual to join our team as a Booster/Volunteer Manager on a 1-year term basis. The Booster/Volunteer Manager will serve as a Committee Chair in a non-voting capacity.


Requirements

The position requires the following:
   - CPR Certification
   - Federal Background Clearance

*All certifications must be obtained at the beginning of the season, and the associated costs are the responsibility of the individual.

Responsibilities of the Booster/Volunteer Manager:

1. Board Meeting Attendance: Attend all open session Board Meetings regularly to stay informed about organizational matters.

2. Event Decoration Management: Proficiently manage decorations for all organizational events, including football and cheer events, ensuring they align with the desired theme and create an engaging atmosphere.

3. Volunteer Coordination: Effectively coordinate with volunteers before, during, and after events, ensuring their assignments are communicated clearly and they receive necessary support.

4. Booster Meeting Facilitation: Skillfully facilitate Booster Meetings with parents, creating an inclusive and productive environment to discuss organizational goals, initiatives, and volunteer involvement.

5. Budget Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with the President and Treasurer to obtain and manage weekly budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated appropriately for event requirements.

6. Event Presence: Ensure consistent presence at all home game events, including football games and parent events, from beginning to end, providing oversight and support as needed.

7. Committee Coordination: Efficiently coordinate a parent-volunteer committee for seamless home game planning and decoration, delegating tasks, setting deadlines, and fostering effective teamwork.

8. Collaboration with Team Moms: Foster strong collaboration with football and cheer team moms to effectively coordinate and fulfill volunteer hours, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for all involved.

9. Communication and Leadership: Demonstrate exceptional communication, multitasking, leadership, and planning skills to effectively manage volunteer and booster activities and promote a cohesive team environment.

10. Technical Proficiency: Utilize advanced knowledge and proficiency in using Google Apps and Microsoft Office to streamline communication, documentation, and organization of volunteer and booster-related tasks.

11. Positive Atmosphere Promotion: Maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude, promoting parent collaboration and engagement, and fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere within the organization.

12. Record-Keeping: Accurately create and maintain sign-in sheets for volunteers during home games, ensuring accurate record-keeping and tracking of volunteer hours.

13. Support to Board Positions: Provide reliable and timely support to all Board Positions and their respective roles, collaborating with other team members to ensure smooth operations and successful execution of organizational activities.
